Goals
Building basic skills for work with a computer, the operating system Windows, the browser Internet Explorer, the text processing software MS Word and the spreadsheet processing software MS Excel.

Chapter 1. Working with MS Windows, the internet and e-mail
Working with Windows desktop and Windows Accessories. Organization of files and folders. Sharing resources for network collaboration. Working with Control Panel. Searching information on the internet. Changing settings in Internet Explorer. Registering an e-mail address. Organizing and managing e-mail messages.
Chapter 2. Working with MS Word
Creating and working with templates. Automatic text input and editing. Text formatting. Word themes. Changing theme elements. Creating tables. Changing the table structure. Applying automatic table formatting. Page layout and printing a document.
Chapter 3. Working with MS Excel
Input, editing and formatting of text, numbers and dates. Inserting and deleting a cell, row, column and worksheet. Performing calculations with formulas and functions. SUM, AVERAGE and COUNT functions. Absolute and relative address of cells. Sorting and filtering data. Creating diagrams and changing its type. Print preview of a worksheet. Header rows and columns. Creating a print area. Printing a workbook.
