Acquiring basic skills for working with spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel.
Curriculum
Chapter 1. Introduction and basic terms
Basic terms: rows, columns, cells, cell range, worksheet. Data input and editing (text, numbers and dates). Copying and moving cells and cell range. Inserting rows and columns. Inserting, deleting and moving worksheets. Working with different views.
Chapter 2. Data formatting
Formatting the workbook elements: cells, rows, columns and worksheets. Changing the formatting of different data types (text, numbers and dates). Applying formatting templates. Clearing formatting.
Chapter 3. Performing calculations
Performing basic calculations: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Using basic functions for summing, rounding, finding the average and counting. Copying formulas. Rounding a number. Absolute and relative addressing of cells when copying a formula.
Chapter 4. Data processing in a table
Basic terms. Sorting text, data and numbers. Filtering data. Adding news rows and columns to a table. Performing calculations in a table column.
Chapter 5. Printing worksheet data
